One does appearance work, the other does parts-heavy builds. No single tool on the market could run both well — so we built one that could, with the trades separated cleanly under one login.
Everything was either too basic or too much
We tried the popular options ourselves, as paying customers. Each one missed in the same frustrating way:
- Too basic. Tools that nailed detailing and tint fell apart the moment parts and accessories entered the job — it meant constant workarounds to keep things straight.
- Too much. Full repair-shop platforms were capable, but we were paying $400+ a month for features a restyle or off-road shop never touches — wiring diagrams, repair data and the like.
- Premium price, no ear. Even the closest fit cost a premium and ran on workarounds — and the people building it weren't interested in feedback from shops like ours.
